Fit Pregnancy?

So before I was pregnant you could find me somebody’s gym, 6 days a week for at least 2 hours, not even including the morning or nightly run that I HAD to get in because, well, I gets it in. I ate only the leanest of meats and freshest of fruits and vegetables. You could catch me counting every little thing that went into my mouth, I wasn’t playing…. Then I found out I was pregnant and for those first few weeks, everything changed... I was eating…EVERYTHING. I had some nausea but then I found out, I had to eat to get rid of it?!!!…….well…. I ate. I ate everything, meat, rice, potatoes…OMG my husband made this egg and rice thing (I ate it for breakfast and dinner for a week straight) and everything was (and still is) smothered in CHEESE. The only thing I couldn’t or wouldn’t eat was a veggie. I was repulsed by the thought and thus avoided them like the plague. So here, I am almost 14 weeks in and I have since returned to the world of fitness, working out when I can and trying to run/walk 2 miles a day. Still getting it in. To those women who continue to have rock hard abs during pregnancy, I have nothing but respect for you and today I applaud you, your strength and resilience is something that I hope to one day achieve, but today… I’m going to eat.
