I hate....My Job

As the title clearly states, I hate my job. I am a "Human Service Specialist II" serving the good ol' State of Arizona. Those are the words that they use and you on the outside looking in probably have no idea what I do. Sounds like I am some kind of special agent or high paying government official..ehh not exactly. quite the opposite in fact. I am a case manager... I manage cases. More specifically I work with adults who have developmental disabilities and I try to make their life easier. Now don't get me wrong I love, love, love, my clients and families they are some of the most amazingly strong people you will ever meet, but the job itself...let me tell you. The job pays pennies for all the driving, all the cases, phone calls, emails hours you put in. There is no such thing as a raise AND the opportunities to move up are so few and far between it'll take decades to move from a II to a III. I know that I am in a good position and I should be thankful I have a job and I am. Everyone rants about their job every now and then right? Maybe it's just me...
